Until recently, it was required by law that all hemp oil be imported into the United States.  Despite hemp’s long history of cultivation and use in the United States, growing the crop for commercial purposes has been federally prohibited for almost 50 years. With the passing of the 2014 Farm Bill, however, hemp is once again being legally planted on American soil.

Hemp Source CBD products are now produced domestically because of the 2014 US Farm Bill section 7606, which created for the first time since 1937, a Federally legal pathway to growing “industrial hemp” once again on American soil.  This means we can provide domestically grown and processed full-spectrum phytocannabinoid rich hemp oil, Terpenes, CBD isolate, CBD concentrates, CBD edibles, and CBD for Animals.  And, we are also one of the few companies in the world with zero THC full-spectrum CBD products.

All of our hemp products are grown and processed here in the United States.  No imports!

CBD is the name of a compound found in the cannabis plant. It is one of numerous compounds found in the plant that are called cannabinoids. Researchers have been looking at the potential therapeutic uses of CBD. Oils that contain concentrations of CBD are known as CBD oil, but the concentration and uses of different oils vary. CBD stands for Cannabidiol, and Cannabidiol comes from the cannabis plant.

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound in cannabis plant that offers many benefits without any high.

Most people have heard of THC, which is the ingredient in cannabis plants responsible for the high. But recently, attention has shifted to another compound called CBD.

Today, CBD is available in a variety of products ranging from oils and tinctures, salves, softgels, edibles and vaporizers.

To be candid, there isn’t much of a difference between the two. Both marijuana and hemp come from the plant species called Cannabis Sativa. They are both part of the Cannabis family.

The primary difference between the two is in its chemical composition, specifically in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the chemical responsible marijuana’s psychological effect. Typically, Marijuana contains anywhere from 5-20% THC.  Hemp has a max THC level of 0.3%, essentially making it impossible to feel any psychoactive effect or get a “high”.  Having 0.3% THC or less is the threshold that defines cannabis sativa strains as hemp. Hemp also has high cannabidiol (CBD) content that acts as THC’s antagonist, essentially making the minimal amount of THC useless.  Also, even trace amounts of THC can be removed through advanced processing practices so there is no traceable amount whatsoever.

Regardless of the claims by some unscrupulous companies selling CBD products, there are only trace amounts of CBD in hemp seeds & stalks.

According to the scientific research and literature, only trace amounts of cannabinoids are found in the seeds and stalk part of the cannabis plant. The trace amounts detected are only resin that adhere to the surface of seeds and stalks.  Scientific research shows it is not practical to produce CBD extracts (oils) that contain more than trace amounts of cannabinoids when using seeds and stalks.

Our hemp plants are never grown by planting seeds.  They are grown using “clones” Cloning guarantees a much more consistent oil.  When you plant a seed, you never truly know what is going to grow.  By cloning, we can ensure a consistent end product.

The uniqueness of our products begins with the genetics.  Our proprietary strain of high CBD “hemp” is a hybrid AC/DC x Cannatonic x (another naturally high CBD strain), all of which are known for their medicinal value. Our CBD oil comes from hemp plants that produce over 18% cannabidiol (CBD), 1-2% cannabigerol (CBG), 1-2% cannabinol (CBN), and 1-2% cannabichromene (CBC), with over 50 naturally present terpenes and terpenoids, and less than .2% THC.   Because our plants produce a very high amount of CBD naturally, the other unique compounds within the plant have evolved to support it in a very synergistic way.

The extraction technology and techniques used in creating our oil is a key component to great CBD products. A proprietary extraction process incorporates a chromatography method which allows naturally occurring THC to be separated out completely from the extract, while leaving perfectly intact other naturally present synergistic compounds such as CBG, CBN, and CBC.  We call this “zero THC full spectrum oil”.

As demand for CBD continues to grow, so too will the synthetic forms of CBD crystalline isolate coming out of China and Eastern Europe.  Bulk and wholesale hemp CBD buyers need to be cautious when purchasing hemp oil rich in CBD from overseas.  Hemp is a plant used for phyto-remediation and can literally suck the toxins out of the soil.  Hemp from overseas often contains heavy metals, toxic molds, and/or mysterious chemicals.  True quality control can only be guaranteed if all aspects of the supply chain and manufacturing are vertically integrated and domestic.

Our American Grown PCR medicinal hemp is naturally rich in CBD, along with a full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes all working synergistically to provide true health benefits.  Industrial hemp CBD oil, and isolate from China and Europe, is being flooded into the US market and touted as an effective CBD product, but it is not.  Cannabis and its cannabinoids are unique, and the effects of the whole plant’s oil extract (including the flowers), is most effective when maintained in its natural formulation, versus isolating one particular part of the plant.

If you are looking for a reliable and consistent source of the highest quality, federally legal, American made “medicinal hemp” derived phytocannabinoids, then please consider our company as the ONLY source that can deliver.  Educating consumers about the differences between true genetic “industrial hemp”, and our unique phytocannabinoid rich “medicinal hemp”, is a sure way to distinguish our products from everyone else’s.  Once you experience our phytocannabinoid rich extracts, you will understand why medicine is made from one variety of hemp, and textiles and industrial products are made from another.
